Abstract

The whole work of Claude Parent can be interpreted like a constant opposition to academicism, power, social recognition and even the laws that govern the structural logic of architecture. Thus, works such as the Maison Soultrait or the Church of St. Bernadette are postulated as real risky maniphestos, violent and contradictory. Case studies to be interpreted from the catastrophe of our present times.
